You’ll be a Gothic Victorian temptress in this beautiful wedding dress. The bodice is a lace overlay corset, to pull in your waist and give vintage va-va-voom. The skirt is a hip-flattering bustle design with pick-ups all down the back and a slight train. The front is short – a pleated swag that reveals just enough leg. The back is hitchable – because dancing is important!
This custom made gown includes the following items:
Then, there are options!
The photo below shows how the skirt in this dress looks when worn with different underthings. “Basic” is what you’ll get if you order the dress by itself – a three piece set of bolero, corset, and bustle skirt. “Lacy” what you’ll get if you check the option to add a lace underskirt, which brings the look to a peekaboo full length. “Bustleicious” adds a bustle petticoat, for extra flair and a poofier back. Check both options to receive the “Deluxe” look!

A matching shrug in white satin adorns your shoulders and neck. I didn’t spare any tiny gorgeous detail – every edge is trimmed in ruffled black lace, and ribbon bows adorn neck, upper arms, and hips. This dress has all you need to feel like an elegant lady from another time – with a seductive modern twist.
This version of this gown comes with my lace overlay hourglass corset. I drafted the pattern for these corsets, and had them custom manufactured for my shop in sizes from 22 to 30. These corsets are only available while supplies last.
I will be adding made-to-order corsets to my store soon. Made-to-order corsets will be available in every size, every shade of bridal satin, and in multiple lace-adorned designs. Once made-to-order corsets are ready, I will add a version of this gown that includes a made-to-order corset, and add a link to the custom-made-corset version.

The price in this listing is discounted (10% off each handmade item), as it’s a bit faster to make something I’ve made before, and requires less time spent communicating what I’m making for you. The full price you see in this listing is what you should expect for a custom gown based on this design, with different fabrics and/or trims.
If you like, I can make a hat to match this dress for you. Several styles are possible, each of which matches nicely with the satin and lace. I can make full-size top hats in with a satin ribbon band to match this look:

My lace-all-over Kentucky-Derby style hats also are an excellent match for this dress:

Finally, it would be possible to create this fedora-style tilt hat from the same fabric used to make your gown:

Here is the link to purchase “La Rose Cherie” – the roses-adorned fedora tilt hat. If you’re interested in one of the others, contact me and we can discuss.
Are there alternate fabrics available for this dress?
Many of my fabrics are too thick to gather properly – and the ruffle at the bottom of the skirt requires a gatherable fabric. This gown can be created from exactly two fabrics in addition to bridal satin – taffeta, and cotton. With either of these choices, I recommend switching to a custom made corset so that your corset can match your skirt and bolero. Contact me to discuss!
I recommend pairing Taffeta fabric with a corset in black satin, and black satin pleated ribbon trim over black lace. With Cotton fabric, I recommend a corset in black brocade with black grosgrain ribbon trim over black lace.
Can you make this item with a different color trim (IE, without black)?
The lace overlay only comes in black, I’m afraid, but if we pair this look with a brocade corset in white or ivory, and switch the trim to double layer grosgrain in either white or ivory, it becomes possible to create this look with white or ivory trim.
I already have a corset. Can I order just the bolero and bustle skirt?
Sure! The bolero is listed for sale here, and the skirt is listed for sale here (coming soon).
