Plunder the high seas, Victorian style, in this gorgeous ladies pirate hat. It’s made of a soft cotton poly blend and trimmed all around with lace and pleated ribbon. The sides are permanently attached to the crown so it will keep its beautiful tricorn shape. Each uptake point is adorned with a skull and crossbones set in an ornate frame.

About This Item
This isn’t a costume quality hat – it’s much nicer than that! It’s handmade from a high-quality felt hat base. It comes in many of the popular pirate costume colors – including burgundy, royal blue, purple, a deep jewel-tone emerald green, each with black lace and a black hat base.
I offer one more color that isn’t in the photos – black trim with black/peacock feathers. I haven’t yet made the feather sprays for the black version of this hat, but the plan is to use a similar combination of feathers to the ones I used in this fascinator:
Accent Color
The uptake points on the brim are adorned with skull and crossbones accents set in a matching frame. I can complete these in either antique silver or bronze, whichever you prefer.
Sizing
This hat best fits heads small to medium. If you’d like to measure to be sure this will fit you, it fits heads measuring 22.5″ and below.
Wait Time
To save on storage space and protect delicate curled feathers from humidity and dust, I store feather sprays for hats flat in shallow drawers designed for the purpose. Then when I receive an order, I attach the feather spray to each hat before shipping. With the design of this hat, the pleated ribbon trim must be attached along with the feathers – but since it’s already made for the most part, I can typically complete these steps in a few day’s time.
