You’ll feel beautiful and just a bit dangerous in this Victorian fascinator hairpiece. It has a large bouquet of gorgeous feathers – ostrich, guinea hen, goose, and peacock. A handmade satin flower with a jeweled adornment in the center is surrounded by black lace, and accented with a pair of black satin and organza roses for vintage flair.

Did you know that during the Victorian era, arsenic was used to make a bright emerald shade of green dye? Of course, no arsenic is used in the making of any of my pieces, but it happens that my bright emerald green is close to the same as the “Arsenic Green” shade of the past, thus the name!
Hand curled feathers make each and every one of my fascinators a work of art! I’ve been making them ever since I first opened up shop in 2006, and my technique keeps improving each year! I treat each curled feather to make them humidity resistant. However, if you want your curls to last, I recommend storing your fascinator inside a box.
The piece is attached to a 3″ metal alligator clip in back. It has teeth that are just deep enough to hold, but smooth enough not to catch on your hair when you take it out. As with everything I make, this is a top quality piece designed and made by a cosplayer, for cosplayers!
