This adorable look is perfect for Victorian saloon girls, steampunk divas, pinup princesses, and more. It’s a bustle skirt, with gathers across the front, and side pleats adorned with large flirty bows. The skirt’s back is full enough to fit a full bustle petticoat underneath, and the hem is trimmed in ruffled black lace for just a bit of extra sass.
About This Item
Raspberry is a curious (but very pretty!) color. It’s darker than any shade of pink, but just a bit lighter than burgundy. If you love this color, but aren’t sure how to accessorize it, I’ve found that burgundy accessories do match – particularly if you add just a bit of pink. And, of course, black lace and black satin will coordinate with the trim and the ribbon bows.
There are so many ways to wear this skirt! Worn by itself, it’s this cute Victorian saloon girl look. Wear over a petticoat, and it’s more elegant – adorably lolita at knee to tea length, or very ladylike with a full length petticoat.
