Dare to be bold in this gorgeous little red riding hood costume. It’s bodice is a soft steel boned fashion corset made from bright red satin jacquard. A beautiful high-low skirt made from matching bright red taffeta completes the look. Underneath, your choice of petticoat adds vintage flair.
You can’t wear the skirt in this set by itself! It’s part of my petticoat/hoop skirt line – and a skirt that’s full enough to look pretty over hoops will catch on your knees when you walk, if you wear it by itself. But, it will look beautiful over almost any petticoat or hoop skirt that’s at least as long as your knees, and somewhat full and fluffy.
I have several options for this look. You can purchase the Little Red Riding Hood Costume with choice of petticoat – either the fluffy black organza one I wore for the photoshoot, or an uber-sexy black faux leather cage petticoat. When worn without the capelet this makes a perfectly cute Steampunk costume, so I’ve also made that an option for this listing.
I make my skirts and sleeves, but I don’t make corsets, so I have different size charts for each. Please be sure you’re ordering the correct size!
