Bring a touch of exotic India to your wardrobe with this awesome headpiece. It’s inspired by the Tikka – a sparkling bit of dangly hair jewelry that Indian women wear on special occasions. Tikkas are held in the hair with a small hook, but I’ve invented a design that’s much easier to wear. The dangling centerpiece connects to a beaded headband – just put it on and go from plain to fabulous in five seconds flat!
Only one available.
I am highly abusive to my own jewelry. So I make it to last! The headband is made of metal with wire teeth, and is wrapped in velvet for comfort. I designed it for belly dancers, so it’ll stay put thru twirls and shimmies. You can even make it backbend proof – just put a dab of spirit gum underneath the pendant where it rests against your forehead. The stones in the tikka piece are acrylic, and the beads on the headband are riverstone and antique silver alloy. As always, this is a top quality piece handcrafted in a smoke free, pet free home.
