If you can dream it – you can build it! This is the perfect corset for a Steampunk Inventor or Lady Engineer. It’s made of black floral brocade and accented with copper brown leather banding. You’ll love the way this style flatters your form.
Over the years this has been my most popular style of corset. The brown leather banding is not your typical shade of brown – it’s a very pretty coppery brown faux leather.
The design is buckles galore – five faux leather buckles interspersed with five bronze swing clasps all up the front. The sides balance the front design, with leather banding vertically placed along each seam, and chains which drape from front to back.
Since the leather is more copper than brown, I find that the perfect match for this corset is my copper two-tone taffeta. If you’re shopping elsewhere for a matching petticoat, I recommend looking for a reddish brown, or sticking with black.
