You’ll have oh-so-elegant costumed adventures in this beautiful bustle gown. The bodice is a real steel boned corset, to pull in your waist and encase you in satin and lace. The skirt is a bustle design with a slight train.
This is a 4 piece set which includes the following items:
Only one available.
The skirt hitches via ties attached to the inside. I’ve designed it so that when you pull on them fully, the ruffle touches the fabric where it drapes in the front, and it looks like a whole new skirt! It’s roughly knee length in front. If you’d like a full length look in back, wear it with the included bustle petticoat.
This skirt can’t be worn at full length without the bustle, both for the best “look” and for durability issues – but when hitched, you can absolutely wear it without! This versatility gives you a third look – a cute, roughly knee length skirt that is oh-so-fluffy about the hips.
This is a sample gown, briefly worn once for a photoshoot, and it’s on sale! If you like it, and it will fit you, please don’t miss out. 🙂
Please take your measurements before purchasing to be sure this will fit. When you check out, add your measurements in the spot provided (you’ll see it in the page that loads after clicking the “proceed to checkout” button). I’ll use them to be sure I’m sending you the correct corset size.
Size | Bust | Waist | High Hips | Low Hips |
Small | 33-36″ | 27-30″ | 33-35″ | 35-38″ |
The skirt is 40″ in length. With this style, it’s very important that it not be too long in the front, so I recommend it for heights 5’7″ and above. If you’re 5’6″, it will still work for you if you wear it with heels at least 4″ in height.
Can you make this dress in my size?
Yes I can – I’ve drafted the pattern for this skirt in sizes from XS through 6X, and the shrug in XS through 4X. The corset, however, only comes in sizes XS through about XL (22 through 30 inch waists). Click here for information on custom order availability.
Can you make this in a different color?
Yes I can – although not every color is available. I have found the following colors in corsets from my new supplier that match with my satin fabrics: Red, Cobalt Blue, Wine Red, Dark Lilac, White, Ivory, and Black. Or if you’ll fit one of the corsets already posted in my shop, I can make a skirt and shrug to match.
