Step into a world where vintage romance meets imagination. This beautiful wedding dress weaves lace, brocade, and dreams into a timeless steampunk fantasy. The bodice is a steel boned corset, perfect for hugging your every curve, and the bustled jacket clasps over the top with an ornate bronze buckle. In the front it’s a miniskirt, but in the back, it’s ooh-la-la long – with a slight train that hitches to ankle length.
This dress is made-to-measure to fit you perfectly, and is available in 4 beautiful colors, as seen in the picture above. The photo below shows how this style of skirt looks when worn with different underthings. “Basic” is what you’ll get if you order the dress by itself – a three piece set of bolero, corset, and bustle skirt. “Lacy” what you’ll get if you check the option to add a lace underskirt, which brings the look to a peekaboo full length. “Bustleicious” adds a bustle petticoat, to poof the skirt (and jacket) out in back. Check both options to receive the “Deluxe” look!

To create this gown to measure, I’ll need the following:
Bust, Waist, High Hips, Low Hips, Upper Arm, and Jacket Length.
The price in this listing is discounted (10% off each handmade item), as it’s a bit faster to make something I’ve made before, and requires less time spent communicating what I’m making for you. The full price you see in this listing is what you should expect for a custom gown based on this design, with different fabrics and/or trims.
Let me know if you would like to add the matching hat to your order. I’ve updated my shaping technique since I made the one in the photos (they’re cuter and even more face-flattering now!)
Are there alternate fabrics available for this dress?
The primary feature that makes this gown distinct is the coordinating fabrics – the damask pattern combined with the wide stripes. The only other type of fabric I can get in coordinating pattern plus stripe is a printed matte satin – which comes in black and white. It would also be possible to make this look in shadow-stripe jacquard combined with rose jacquard (the fabric my belladonna skirts are made from.)
Can you make this item with a different color trim (IE, without ivory)?
It would be possible to switch to black trim and a black corset with this look. I did something similar here.
I already have a corset. Can I order just the bolero and skirt?
I’m afraid that I don’t offer made-to-order gowns without purchase of matching corset. I have to turn custom orders down on a regular basis since it’s just me designing and sewing all these creations. Since my available time to sew custom orders is extremely limited, I must reserve it for full-gown customers only.
