Surrender to your dark desires in this Gothic Victorian bustle skirt. In the front, it’s a miniskirt – with deep pleats that highlight the hips and create a striking, curvy silhouette. In the back, it’s pure drama – with structured pickups that create a lavish, sculptural bustle. It’s crafted from decadent taffeta damask and trimmed in layered pleated lace all around. Perfect to channel your inner vampire, stir up temptation, or claim your throne as the dark queen of the Victorian underworld.

This skirt is designed to be layered. Wear it over a lace underskirt for a graceful look with a hint of leg. Go full-on Victorian temptress by pairing it with my garter shorts and stockings. Layer it over a full-length petticoat to transform yourself into a classy Victorian lady. Or wear it on its own (or with vertical striped tights) as an elaborate yet practical steampunk bustle skirt.
I don’t have “Style” pictures of the new skirt pattern yet, but here’s the similar original version of my “Temptation” skirt:

This skirt is intended to be worn with a corset or corset belt. Its waistband sits at high hips below/overlapping with the bottom edge of the corset. That’s why there is no “waist” measurement in the table.
Measure high hips around your hip bones, about halfway between smallest waist and largest hips. Measure low hips around your butt or thighs, whichever is largest. If your measurements put you in two different sizes, choose the size which corresponds to your low hip measurement.
This is made from a gloriously decadent fabric – taffeta with velveteen damask patterns all over. It’s a stiff fabric that works wonderfully for pleats, tucks, and poufs. I recommend pairing this with a corset made from black velvet or black suede, possibly with satin or leather accents.
